The wedding of Darrell Silver and Stephen Foley will take place at the historic One Hanover Square in New York’s Financial District, it has been announced.
The couple are extending a warm invitation to their dearest friends and relatives and are excited to hear that so many are already planning to attend.
As previously revealed by the Nuptial Times, the event has been scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2017 and we are now able to confirm further details. The festivities will begin promptly at 5:30pm with welcome drinks followed by the wedding ceremony.
Guests are now fully RSVP'd for all events, including a rehearsal dinner to be held on the evening of Friday, October 13, to which everyone is invited; and an informal “recovery brunch” on the morning after the wedding.
One Hanover Square — formerly known as India House — is situated in the heart of historic lower Manhattan, on the edge of the Queen Elizabeth II September 11th Gardens. It is within a few minutes' walk of several major subway lines.
After the wedding ceremony, dinner will be served, followed by cheese — or more accurately, cheesy music.
"I’ve already stuffed the ballot with votes for Wham and Chumbawamba," Mr Foley said, "but we would also like our guests to request their favourite wedding disco songs. There is space for people to make suggestions on the RSVP section of our website."
The rehearsal dinner will take place at sunset at Gigino at Wagner Park, 20 Battery Place, with drinks from 5:30pm and food from 6pm. The "recovery brunch" will commence at 11:30am on Sunday, October 15 at 80 Chambers St. on the roof."We are really looking forward to celebrating with family and friends from all over the world," said Mr Silver. "I assume creating a website is the most logistically complex part of putting on a wedding."
